Introduction
At the monthly NPC meetings members have an opportunity to show their images, or have an image evaluated, by submitting them for presentation in one of the following categories:
Submitted images will be consolidated by the appropriate co-ordinator and assembled into a "slide show" that will be presented at the monthly meetings.
Photo Evaluation images will be presented anonymously without any indication of who captured the image. A panel of two members will constructively give their impressions of the image for the benefit of everyone present.
The process for submitting images is described below.
1. Image Selection
The first step is to select which images to submit. Members are allowed a maximum of two images in each of the Theme, Outings and Photographer's Choice categories. Please note: when there are two or more outings between meetings, you are allowed to submit two images for each outing.
Members are allowed one photo in the Photo Evaluation category.
2. Resizing and Renaming The Images
Once the images have been selected they must be resized to a maximum image size of 1920 by 1080 pixels.

Allow the width of the image to be adjusted automatically; this will normally be less than 1920 pixels. The resized image should be saved as a jpg file using the naming convention appropriate for the image category as shown below.

These are to be submitted before midnight on the Friday before the monthly meetings.

Slide Shows and Photo Essays
Once a year, members have the opportunity to present a short 5-minute "slide" presentation and a six-image photo essay on topics of their choice. Details for these submissions will be announced at the time.
