Photo Competition
The St. Lawrence Islands National Park in Mallorytown, Ontario is holding their Fourth Annual Photo Contest and looking for people who may be interested in submitting some photos.
They are celebrating Parks Canada’s centennial year, so their goal for the photo contest is for participants to show us what they do or what the people around them do to enjoy themselves at the park. They are looking for photos with the use of experiential perspective.
There are great prizes to be won! Henry’s gift certificates, guided kayaking trips by 1000 Islands Kayaking Company, see your photo published on the Parks Canada website, postcard and possibly the Parks Canada brochure. Entries must be received by 4 p.m. EDT on October 14, 2011.

A Photography Auction Fundraiser in Support of The Robert McLaughlin Gallery
RMG EXPOSED is a juried photo competition and photography auction that promotes and raises awareness about The Robert McLaughlin Gallery, contemporary photography, as well as showcases the talent of regional and national photographers. The evening includes a live auction and music, food and drink, silent auction and more. Please follow the progress of the 2011 event including our call for entries and learn more about the 2010 event and at www.rmgexposed.com.
Members of the Northumberland Photography Club are invited to submit entries. Submission deadline is October 3, 2011.
