Welcome to the Northumberland Photography Club!

The NPC Executive has unanimously agreed that we will not be physically meeting as a club for the foreseeable future with the planned recommencement of regular meetings to follow the recommendations of Public Health and the guidelines of our host facility.

As the pandemic circumstances change, we will re-evaluate our timeline. Until that time, the executive is committed to operating as a virtual club, gathering socially and sharing images and photography related materials via our private NPC Facebook group, emails, and publishing our club newsletter.

Our club’s virtual slideshows (Theme, Photographers Choice, Innings and Outings,) will continue and new initiatives for photography related tutorials and inspirational new ways to connect as a club are in the works.

Innings/Outings for 2021- 2022

Although we are not yet able to get together to shoot as a club, at times we have more opportunity to shoot beyond our homes.  The Outings Committee have assembled a list of Innings/Outings to take us through this “virtual year.”   We have listed two outings per month and may add to that if circumstances change. Please refer to our Outings Page to see the Themes and Outing photos suggested for each month. About us:

We are an all-volunteer club serving Northumberland County, Ontario and surrounding area. We welcome members of all skill levels and photography interests, from Novice to Master. Our goal is to share, learn, and grow our photographic skills in an inclusive environment.

We are coordinating the production of our membership contribution slideshows to coincide with the club’s usual meeting night which is the first Monday of the month from September to June (see our programming page for Themes, Outings or Photographer's Choice).

When we do physically meet in the future, these monthly meetings will be held at the Salvation Army Church, 59 Ballantine Street, Cobourg, Ontario, beginning promptly at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for coffee and socializing.

Feel free to contact the club or a member of our Executive Team for further information.
