Throughout the year, outings to places of photographic interest are arranged for members of the Northumberland Photography Club. These outings provide members with a wide range of subjects and shooting situations and allow members to learn more about photography and what their own cameras can do. They also familiarize members with locations that they can return to again and again in the years to come. Finally, and very importantly, the outings provide opportunities for meeting and socializing with other members of the Club.

Due to insurance conditions, these outings are open only to all fully signed-up members of the Club.

See Photos page for lots of photos taken by members on outings.

Periodically, technical workshops are held which are tuturials or seminars on some apsect of photography.  In addition, in the Spring of each year, the club produces special Workshops which feature guest speakers plus workshops on how to get better photos.  These are usually all day or weekend events.

At least once each year, the club finds public locations where members can show their work.  These vary from stores to theatres to offices to art galleries.

Once only events produced by the Club.  This will often be a presentation or workshop by a well-known photographer.
