"Maple In The County" - Consecon - March 30th

Twelve sugar bushes are taking part in "Maple in the County", and following the suggestion of Myra Pritchett, we will visit Walt’s Sugar Shack in Consecon at 1671 Salem Rd., on March 30th.  This sugar bush has lots of activities happening during the day so we can, hopefully, capture some interesting people shots.  Those wishing to drive together should meet in Grafton at the car park at 9 am.  I will have maps/brochures available for people there or for those driving on their own they can be downloaded at  http://mapleinthecounty.ca/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/MAPLE-2019-FLYER.pdf

Members may wish to use the remainder of the day to visit other areas in the County or on the way back may want to stop at Presqu’ile in Brighton for bird and nature photography.  Anything taken that day may be submitted to the Outings Slide Show,    however, they will be shown at the May, rather than the April meeting, since this outing will be occurring after the Photo Submission deadline.

All day pancake breakfasts are offered at Walt’s and there are restaurants in Bloomfield, Picton, and Wellington.  Not far from Presqu’ile there is the Whistling Duck.  We will not be meeting to eat lunch all together at one spot.
